Malone Souliers presented their latest offerings ahead of the AW25 season at London Fashion Week. This season was similar to last, in that the footwear was showcased in a presentation format, allowing guests to saunter around the space, slowly and delicately taking in all of the intricate details displayed throughout. This collection entitled, “Noir” draws much of it’s inspiration from the “sartorial and seductive splendour of film noir” - highlighting the distinct intrigue of “cinema’s greatest mid-century films and the iconic wardrobes of femme fatale”.
Colourways on display were of course, aligned with a classic autumn-to-winter tonal range. Dark brown, deep black, and maroon reds in leather and velvet - could be seen adorned with the occasional rhinestone. This seductive era of cinema informed the offerings where razor edged silhouettes situated against wearable elegance. Just when you thought you’d guessed what would be next, clear panels tinged with black presented cutouts toward the toe of heels. All the while, metallic platforms secured the audience’s undying attention.
