Bhumi’s debut collection, Bathe in the Waters launched this AW25 season on the final day of London Fashion Week. Exhibition turned presentation turned afterparty, the brand curated a groundbreaking launch which could be interpreted as an “immersive oceanic dreamscape”. Cutting the line between production and final product, Bhumi showed us exactly what their process looked like, with 3D printers utilising biodegradable PLA filament, fully in action during the event.
Focusing on self-adornment and empowerment, Bhumi pushes the boundaries as to who can create a mark on the fashion industry, as the designer innovates around new mediums. Each of the works is made-to-order with the hope of reshaping the way we understand and interpret such adornments within our own wardrobes and beyond. The event highlighted Bhumi and Anycubic’s continued collaboration, and included brand partnerships from Living Things and Niche Cocktails. Whilst gift bags were awarded to attendees from Wonderskin.
The collection is inspired by the "divine feminine" as it transforms via natural environments, always seeking to better understand ourselves as individuals and as people in the wider world. Each of the free flowing inspirations of the collection are solidified into tactile, wearable accessories which complement any outfit. Leaning into pale pink and purple and a color shifting greenish aqua, the collection presents vibrant, daring, and attention grabbing accessories.
